Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: HELSINKI – TALLINN | Silja Europa — overnight cruise
Helsinki at your leisure - plenty of time to explore, discover, and enjoy Helsinki, the cosmopolitan jewel of Finland. Visit the open-air markets, the Rock Church, browse through the array of designer boutiques before setting sail on the Baltic cruise from Helsinki to Tallinn. The cruise-ferry departs at 18:30 from Helsinki Sea Port, aboard beautiful Silja Europa. Enjoy the dining and entertainment facilities onboard, as you sail on the calm blue waters of the Baltic Sea.

Day 2: TALLINN – STOCKHOLM | Victoria I or Baltic Queen — overnight cruise
Buffet breakfast on board. Arrive in Tallinn at 9:00 am.
Explore Medieval Tallinn — you will be met at the exit of the ferry terminal by an English-speaking guide for a comprehensive old town walking tour filled with architectural delights, spectacular views, and captivating stories of the medieval and modern period in Tallinn. Tour begins with a panoramic drive past the fairy-tale-like medieval town wall towers to the heart of the medieval city in the upper old town. Once built by a Danish King as a wooden fortress, the picturesque Toompea Hill now stands proudly with the Houses of Parliament, Prime Ministers Offices, and the oldest church in town dedicated to Saint Mary the Virgin.
One of the most irresistibly enchanting passages takes us now to the lower old town. The exceptionally complete and well preserved medieval square by the old Town Hall takes us back to the glory days of this trading city. Colorfully quaint townhouses around the old market place make it an ideal location to take in the local atmosphere on a well-deserved coffee break. Thereafter you will discover one of Europe´s oldest 600-year-old pharmacies, pay a visit to the marzipan room, and stroll through the romantic arches of the St.Catherine´s Passage. A beautiful little street to discover the local craftsmanship of stained glass, ceramics, jewelry, quilts, and leather goods.
Enjoy some free time for shopping and taking in what the lovely heart of old Tallinn has to offer, after an exciting day head back to the terminal and step onboard Victoria I or Baltic Queen and sail to royal Stockholm at 18:00.

Day 3: STOCKHOLM – HELSINKI | Silja Serenade or Silja Symphony — overnight cruise
Buffet breakfast on board. Enjoy the most beautiful archipelago before arriving to Stockholm at 10:15 am.
Best of Stockholm Private Tour with Vasa Museum & City Hall Visit — you will be met at the exit of the ferry terminal by an English-speaking guide for a panoramic drive through the city center. A scenic drive next brings us to Stadshuset, Stockholm’s City Hall, where we’ll take a guided walk through this massive, fortress-like red brick structure. The building, known for its tower whose cupola is topped with the three golden crowns of historic Sweden – the national coat of arms. Here we’ll make our way to the famous Blue Hall, scene of the annual Nobel Award banquet, and the Golden Hall, with its 18 million gold mosaic tiles that illustrate Swedish history. Take a short break to shop for souvenirs and gifts that commemorate City Hall and Stockholm.
Continue on to Gamla Stan, the Old Town, where Stockholm began over eight centuries ago for a brief guided walking tour, you can savor the romantic atmosphere and sense the antiquity of the 16th- to 19th-century buildings, baroque doorways, and regal coats of arms. We’ll see the Stortorget – the square that serves as the hub of the Old Town, and the old Stock Exchange, now the home of the Nobel Museum and the Swedish Academy. We will then drive to the neighboring island of Djurgården, known as Stockholm’s outdoor recreation center, and such historic sites as the National Museum and the Royal Dramatic Theater, followed with a visit to the Vasa Museum, built specifically to house the Vasa, the oldest fully-preserved ship in the world.
It is easy to fall in love with the trendy and vibrant capital of Sweden, but it’s time to return back to port & step onboard another luxurious cruise ship and head back to Helsinki.
