Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Depart Helsinki
Helsinki at your leisure - plenty of time to explore, discover, and enjoy Helsinki, the cosmopolitan jewel of Finland. Visit the open-air markets, the Rock Church, browse through the array of designer boutiques before setting sail on the Baltic cruise Helsinki to St. Petersburg. The cruise-ferry departs at 19:00 or 18:00 from Helsinki Sea Port, aboard M/S Princess Anastasia. Enjoy the dining and entertainment facilities on board, as you sail across the Gulf of Finland towards Russia.
Check-in: from 15.00 hrs West Terminal 1, West Harbour, Helsinki
Dinner and overnight onboard the ferry. (B, D)
Day 2 – Discover St Petersburg
Buffet breakfast on board. Arrive in St. Petersburg at 9:00 am. You will be met at the exit of the ferry terminal by an English-speaking guide for your panoramic tour of the beautiful city of St Petersburg. You will visit the best of the historic sights of this cultural capital city:
- The Peter and Paul Fortress – founded by Peter the Great in 1703, this citadel was the first building in St Petersburg. It is now the central part of the State Museum of Saint Petersburg History.
- The Hermitage Museum – founded by Catherine the Great in 1764, this is one of the world’s largest and oldest museums. Its vast collections are housed along the Palace Embankment, in six buildings including the Winter Palace.
- Kazan Cathedral – this Russian Orthodox Church is dedicated to Russia’s most venerated religious icon, Our Lady of Kazan - located on the Nevsky Prospekt, is a grandeur & spectacular architectural building.
At 17:00 you will be transferred back to the harbor for the check-in for the return voyage departure to Helsinki at 19:00 or 18:00

Day 3 – Arrival in Helsinki
Enjoy breakfast on board before your early morning arrival in Helsinki. Expected arrival time in Helsinki at 07:00 or 08:00. (B)
