Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Oslo
Upon arrival in Oslo, a Private Transfer from the airport to the hotel. Individual check-in. Your private English speaking driver will meet you in the airport arrival hall with a name sign and assist with your luggage.
The rest of the day is at leisure – relax at your hotel or take a short walk along the harbor or the main shopping street, Carl Johan which leads up to the Royal Palace. Norway's capital is an energetic and modern hub that is easily explored by foot.
Overnight in Oslo
Day 2: Oslo – Sightseeing
Breakfast at the Hotel.
You will be picked up by your driver from the hotel to meet the guide in the city center, for your private 4-hour combo car & walking tour. Drive up to one of the hilltops surrounding Oslo to enjoy the view of the city and the fjord. Going back downtown, you stop to walk through Vigeland Park. Driving through town, you will see the Opera House, the Royal Palace, the Parliament, the medieval fortress, and the City Hall, as well as other city highlights. The driver will drop you downtown after two hours, and you’ll walk past the City Hall and through the Old Town which the Danish king Christian VI ordered built-in 1624, ending the tour with the views from the rooftop of the Opera House before returning to the hotel or a good place for you to have lunch or a light meal.
Optional — the driver could drop you at Bygdøy, where you could visit the museum of your choice and return to the City Hall by ferry or bus. Museums here being the Fram, the Kon-Tiki, the Maritime, the open-air Norwegian museum of cultural history, or the Viking Ship museum. If you wish to rather have a hike in the surrounding woods than in the sculpture park, or would rather see the Reptile house than the Viking ships, that is also possible.

Day 3: Oslo – Myrdal – Flåm – Balestrand
Early Breakfast at the Hotel & Hotel check-out.
Luggage Porterage: Your main luggage will be picked up at your hotel in Oslo and safely transferred to your hotel in Bergen, while you travel Light by taking an overnight bag & enjoy some of the world's most breathtaking nature & focusing on your camera
Take a short walk or short drive to Oslo Central to board a scenic train ride in upgraded comfort class, passing towns and farm country as well as the highest point on the railway, Finse at 1222 meters above sea level. In Myrdal, board a cogwheel train to Flam on the Flam Railway. The scenic 12-mile route between Myrdal and Flam is one of the steepest non-rack railway tracks in the world and an engineering marvel winding its way down to the picturesque village of Flam. At one of the stops, you can get off the train to take pictures of the waterfall above. After a short break in Flam, take a short walk to the pier where you board the boat that takes you out the narrow Aurlandsfjord, crossing the main Sognefjord, (the longest and deepest fjord in the world), you'll get your first glimpse of the magnificent Sognefjord which you'll soon get up close and personal with during a ferry ride across its deep blue water to the charming village of Balestrand. When you dock in Balestrand. Check in to your hotel, a short walk from the pier.
Rest of the day at leisure, take a stroll through this small town, visit the Aquarium (hosting local sea life) or the old wooden St. Olaf’s church, an English church.

DAY 4: Balestrand — Fjord Cruise on the Fjærlandfjord
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Enjoy the lovely fjord trip to the villages between the glaciers – Balestrand and Fjærland, including a visit to the Norwegian Glacier Museum, a coach trip up to the glacier, and a fjord cruise on the Fjærlandfjord. Experience incredible fjord landscapes and see both the Bøyabreen glacier and see how the glacier presses itself into the landscape - an impressive sight to behold and well worth snapping a few photos and Supphellebreen glaciers (two arms of the mighty Jostedal Glacier) all in one day. Returning to Balestrand by boat.

Day 5: Balestrand – Sognefjord Cruise – Bergen
Breakfast at the hotel. Hotel Check-out.
Depart for an unforgettable cruise through the Sogne Fjord, the longest and deepest fjord in the world. Spectacular scenery as the boat winds through the narrow passages of the fjord out to the west coast of Norway and through the archipelago to Bergen. Early afternoon, arrive in Bergen harbor and take a short walk to the hotel.
After settling down, join the culinary delight – Classic Food Walk, In just 3 hours, explore classic Bergen-style dishes from eateries that help make Bergen a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy! Get up close and personal with "Bergen Style" dishes - Fish soup, brown cheese, wild salmon, and reindeer. Escape bustling Bryggen. Day 6: Bergen
Breakfast at the hotel.
Meet your private guide in the hotel lobby, setting out on a highlight walking tour of the colorful city of Bergen. You'll stroll through the old wharf area known as Bryggen, a UNESCO World Heritage Site revered for its Hanseatic commercial buildings, a nod to Bergen's former importance in the 14th-16th century Hanseatic League empire. Visit the town's traditional fish market, a lively and oddly picturesque area where the local catch has been traded for over 800 years. Discover small wooden houses from the 18th and 19th century, tucked away on charming streets and narrow alleyways, and enjoy a round-trip ride on the Floibanen funicular railway to the top of Mount Fløyen, for sweeping views of the fjord-side city and the seven mountains that famously surroundings & an amazing place to watch the Sunset!

Day 7: Bergen
Breakfast at the hotel. Hotel Check-out.
Enjoy some leisure time until it is time for your private transfer to the Bergen Airport for your flight home or next destination.
